This article which was took from the New York Times, regarding a very important topic for the United States of America election race. This topic being the policies that candidate Mitt Romney would like to adopt within the economy which are seriously menacing to women. This subject was merely more elaborated throughout the debate which was held yesterday.

In basic terms what President Obama is saying is that Romney’s policies would not serve the interests of one of the most equal country in the world. Especially because his opportunity to do he´s best within this topic, was exactly on yesterdays debate, however it was not well appreciated. Since Mr. Romney´s interest would actually mean to “eliminate financing for women’s health services, block access to contraceptives, oppose equal pay,” and also mention that abortion should only be legal in only some particular cases.
What this discussion and presidential debate is saying, is that  President Obama is more interested and showing more efforts to defend the family issues as part of the women fore, as well as, one of the most important aspects of the United States middle-class. On the other hand, Mr. Romney´s participation all the way through this subject was mostly a defensive approach. This perspective adopted another view when he mentioned that, Massachusetts had more women in senior leadership positions than in any other state in the United States.

In a specific sense, what we can observe within the core of this article, is that Romney could take into advantage the “binders full” comment, which actually helped him promote the Democratic group on the internet, as well as, appeal a new perspective within this particular theme, which was very delicate for him as a candidate. By the counter part there were negative virtual responses about this topic on the internet, since it only caused mocking and a really tight view about how a Bridge Club was getting only opposite responses from the Governor.

What we must also mention is how both candidates mentioned the Planned Parenthood, where Mr. Romney´s pledge is to eliminate the financing of this project, and President Obama used it as a well played dark card. Do to the fact that this program relies distinctively, on health screenings, mammograms and other type of health tests. I seriously am concern about what will happen to this program if ever eliminated or held its financial status.

To conclude, I believe the debate held a very important focus by both candidates on women, which I consider that, this might help define new strategies within the last few weeks of the race, as well as, make the campaigns support new projects involving women such as making eager new policies that might assist women profile.
