Today was the last chance for Obama and Romney to take advantage in the polls. It was the last opportunity to be on top. The article that I took to write these it was from the New York Times and the Title was “Role Reversal Gives President Harder Line, and Punch Lines” in resume it was a little summary of today’s debate.

Where you can read about the ideas of the international view of these candidates. In my opinion Romney tries to get a general idea of the word. What do I mean? That in the debate he pass trough Greece, Poland, China and Latin America, trying to do not forget any continent. In my view, these kinds of speeches are kind of confused. Because if you are a candidate you’re trying to gets the auditorium attention and even more important the comprehension.

Giving these kind of different speeches in one debate are not functional. And not only this, but he also made several jokes about himself. That’s not what a presidential of an important country would make in the last debate. It is supposed that in the last debate you should be stronger than your rival, so you can whet more votes and as a result of these have advantage in polls, something very important in politics and in campaigns. And here seems that for Romney is the contrary.

In the other hand we have President Obama, that after two debates (one lost and one that he won) he understands that being in the offensive will not function at all, to the contrary of Romney that he was kind of nervous and always trying to respond offensive. That’s why in this debate Obama, was a little calmer, and trying to answer the question or the theme of the debate.

And he told something that it my way of thinking is very, but very dedicated and important to the U.S. citizens. Security. He told a phrase that it was sound like these “Well, my first job as commander in chief, Bob, is to keep the American people safe”, these kinds of words are a key in last debate.

Because as we saw in class, and in the book “Keeping the Republic”, being President is a very important figure and character in the U.S. And tell in the last debate that the FIRST job is to keep the American safe, is such a masterpiece. Because that’s what people want to hear from a President, they want to be safe and know that in any event the first thing the President will search for the security of his people, and after 9/11 that’s a thing that the Americans always considered, because these was an affair of all the people living in the United States.

So today was the last chance of Obama and Romney, the last chance to correct their mistakes, they were playing all, but even do, we have to wait just one thing to se the voter’s decision…the polls.
